Every day, Hachiko, an Akita dog, goes to Shibuya train station and waits for his owner, Dr Ueno, to return from work. One day, Dr Ueno doesn't come back. For the next ten years until the day that he dies, Hachiko keeps a vigil at the station for his deceased owner.
